Disabling Remote Inventory

You may wish to stop the Remote Inventory of a computer or ICMP device by an Endpoint Server. The computer could have been removed from the network, or an old Client Rule was incorrectly targeting a device for Remote Inventory.

Find the device in Client Management - Computers or Client Management - ICMP Devices. Those targeted for Remote Inventory will be denoted by this icon:

Hovering on the icon displays “Remote Inventory Enabled”.

Right click the Hostname/IP address and choose Actions - Disable Remote Inventory. Certero will no longer attempt Remote Inventory of the device.
