Field | Description |
Instance | It is a set of memory structures that manage database files. It runs in memory on a specific computer at a specific time. |
Database | It is a set of physical files on disk created by the CREATE DATABASE statement. It is what's written in physical files on disk. |
Hostname | This is the host in which the Database is installed. For Hard / Soft partitioned environments then it’s the logical server on which the Database is installed. |
Physical Host | Where Hard / Soft partitioning is being used then this is the physical host that’s hosting the virtual host. Where no Hard / Soft partitioning is not been used then this would be the same as the ‘Hostname’. |
Processors | This is the quantity of the specific processors which on the associated Physical Host. |
Licensable Processors | This value is calculated using the total processors * the cores on each Processor. The license core factor is then factored in (where applicable) and a total number of licensable processors is created. |
UPU | This is the unit of platform dependent processing power (UPU) for the associated host. It was introduced in some licensing principles in the late 1990 but was retired early in the 2000s. |
