Managing Dashboards | v8+
The way in which the dashboards can be managed has seen a complete overall from v6, including new widgets and the ability to customize the dashboard layout.
Adding a New Dashboard
Creating a new dashboard within Certero is a straightforward task to accomplish. Simply click the button in the top-right hand corner of the screen.

You will then be given the option to select your layout and size options. When you are happy with your selected layout, give the dashboard a name and click

Configuring a Dashboard Layout
Designing the dashboard to suit your individual requirements has never been as easy as it is in v6. When you are happy with the layout design you have chosen, you can begin making your customizations, simply click the button in the top right-hand of the screen.

In this window, you will be able to do things such as:
Edit Layout | Change the number of columns within the dashboard as well as alter the width of said columns |
Insert Before | Insert a row into the top of the dashboard |
Insert Below | Insert a row into the bottom of the dashboard |
Move Up | Moves the row up within the dashboard |
Move Down | Moves the row down within the dashboard |
Once you have made all the necessary changes to your dashboard, simply click the Save button. Again, located in the top right-hand of the screen. If you wish to disregard the changes you have made to the dashboard, there is a button located next to Save.

Adding Items to your Dashboard
There are a lot of different options available when it comes to adding new items to a dashboard. To begin, simply click the Edit button in the top right. In each column on the dashboard, you will see a button, this will allow you to add new entities to the dashboard.

Below you will find what these entities are along with a detailed guide on how to be implement and utilize them:

Once you have added some items into the dashboard, you will have the ability to drag-and-drop them into different positions to suit your needs. Items such as Charts can also be re-sized. When you are happy with the finished dashboard, simply click Save in the top-right.
You also have the ability to set a Default dashboard. This will be the dashboard first seen when you log into the system, as well as when you return back to the dashboard from other areas of the system. To select your default dashboard simply navigate to the desired dashboard and hit the button.

A tick symbol will appear next to said dashboards name to confirm this.
