Executive Dashboard

The Executive Dashboard displays a range of overview tiles, summarizing value from the key features of the solution.

The Top Resource Costs tile (below) shows the most expensive resources based on costs for the last thirty days. Clicking on a resource or data source name will open the properties page for that item. The Perspectives control at the top-right allows you to switch to the Resources screen, pre-filtered by a Perspective, or to manage Perspectives, or to switch to the Resources screen with no filter. Refer to the Resources screen documentation for details.

The other dashboard tiles are explained in the documentation sections for those features, and those sections are the best place to learn about the tiles:

Managing multiple dashboards

The dashboard you see by default is the Executive Dashboard. You can create and keep additional dashboards alongside it, each with its own set of tiles, and switch between them with the Dashboard selector. Use this to build focused views, for example a dashboard for a particular team or area of spend, and to manage your dashboards.

Customizing your dashboard

Select Customize at the top-right of the dashboard to change its layout and contents. In customize mode you can:

  • Add or remove tiles using the widget selector.

  • Resize a tile to give it more or less space.

  • Reorder tiles by dragging them into position with a left-click.

Some tiles can also be configured, not just placed. The widgets listed in the top section of the widget selector support their own settings, such as filtering, grouping, chart type, and Perspective. In customize mode, select the gear icon on one of these tiles to adjust its settings, so it shows exactly the view you want.
