The Endpoint Server is any Endpoint server which the client is able to contact. Once the initial connection has been made the client will download the information for all other Endpoint Servers. To find the names of the Endpoint Servers, you can navigate to Administration > Endpoint Servers to view a list.

All communication between the client and the Endpoint Server used HTTP port 80 by default. If this has been changed as part of the deployment you will need to specify the new port. This is an optional setting, when not defined the default of 80 will be utilised. Using a non standard setting requires additional configuration within Certero.

SSL communication can be enabled to ensure that all traffic between clients and Endpoint Servers is encrypted. This is an optional setting, when not defined the default of "0" (Off) will be utilised. Enabling SSL communication requires additional configuration within Certero.

Please refer to this article if changing from HTTP to HTTPS to reduce the risk of client agents no longer reporting back to Certero.
