Getting Started with CerteroX for SaaS Management
CerteroX for SaaS Management is designed to help organizations address the complexities of managing an expanding SaaS environment. The navigation pane is structured into three key areas — Discover, Manage, and Optimize, supported by a centralized Settings area for platform configuration.
Discover
The Discover section focuses on uncovering all the SaaS applications in use across your organization.
Identifies both sanctioned and unsanctioned (“Shadow IT”) applications.
Connects to systems such as Entra ID, Okta, and browsers to reveal user activity.
Surfaces data on usage, spend, and risk to build a complete picture of your SaaS environment.
This stage ensures nothing is overlooked, providing the foundation for effective SaaS management.
Manage
The Manage section provides control over the SaaS estate by making application data actionable.
Track each application’s attributes, configuration, and operational status.
Assign ownership to ensure accountability for cost, compliance, and usage.
Manage users to ensure access is aligned with business needs.
This ensures every application is governed consistently and used effectively.
Optimize
The Optimize section turns insights into measurable value.
Highlights under-used or unused subscriptions for potential reclamation.
Provides recommendations for cost savings, right-sizing, and consolidation.
Helps ensure the organization extracts maximum value from every subscription.
