A Space is the top-level grouping of cloud costs and resources. All of the data, reporting, settings, CerteroX user logins, etc. in one Space are separate to those in another Space.

A Space is configured for a single display currency and cannot changed, and so you should only configure data sources where the data source billing currency matches the Space display currency. You will therefore require a Space for each cloud billing currency.

CerteroX users can switch between Spaces using the drop-list near the top of the left-hand menu. In the Spaces drop-list is also a link to the Spaces overview screen where you will see summary information for each Space, including:

  • Top-level pool limits and this/last month spend and forecast.

  • Total Optimization Insights savings.

  • Sub-pool limit breaches and forecast breaches.

Spaces are created by the CerteroX hosting partner.
