How can I import Networks for discovery into Certero?

You can import a list of networks into Certero using a simple tab delimited text file or as part of an .XLSX upload.

The file should have three columns as follows:

  1. Name (Max 50 characters)

  2. Description

  3. IP Address of the format 192.168.0.0

  4. Subnet Mask of the format 255.255.255.0

This can be created in, for example, Microsoft Excel then exported as a text tab delimited format. The file you create can be imported into Certero via the Administration > Networks page, then selecting the Import button at the bottom of the data grid.

If your import file does not confirm to the above simple format, it will cause the import to fail.

Next, you will then need to change the Endpoint Server and the Schedule for each of the networks. Use the multi-select feature on the Networks data grid if you need to set multiple networks with the same settings.
