Step-by-Step Guide
1. Welcome to Certero's cloud cost management platform. Our FinOps certified multi cloud platform helps you gain control of cloud costs.

6. Click the Inform menu item to start getting Visibility

7. Open the Cost Explorer to start viewing and exploring your multi cloud costs

8. View costs by day, week or month. Click Daily

9. That will gives you granular costs. Click Weekly

10. Which will identify peaks during the monthly billing cycle

11. Now click the Cost Map that gives a clear, regional view of your multi cloud costs

13. View the split of regional costs into individual cloud providers and identify any regions where there is unexpected or prohibited spend

14. Click Network Traffic

15. Now you can view total cost visibility for your network traffic. This valuable information helps you understand your egress costs

18. Open the Cost Explorer to start understanding your data and get Observability

19. Click View By to customize how you are viewing your data

20. Click Pool to get a view of your costs grouped into pools

21. View multi cloud spend split into different pools. In Certero, pools are brought in as subscription data, but can be edited to identify cost centers, projects and other specific customer conventions

22. You will also be able to see at a glance the overall costs for the selected billing period, and the previous billing period

23. Come back to your cost explorer, this time click on Owner to get a view of your costs by the user responsible for them

24. See costs that are attributed to owners in your organization. Click on an owner to get a detailed view of what they are responsible for.

25. Now you can see the owner and which costs are attributed to them. This is important for understanding Cost Allocation
