Warranty configuration & retrieval
Certero can retrieve warranty information for Windows and Linux computer systems. The resulting data is visible on the Warranty tab of compatible Computer Systems datagrids and is addressable by Certero reporting features, thus automatically including warranty data in your holistic ITAM reporting and management.
Certero will use manufacturer serial numbers or asset tag information in Computer System BIOS to perform lookups; but only where the manufacturer provides a useful API; which currently only includes Dell and Lenovo.
