How to Import Packages for Distribution
Within the Customer Center there are a number of pre-built packages for you to download and import into Certero to allow installation or removal of an application. Applications include: 7-Zip, Adobe Reader XI, Apache OpenOffice, Apple Safari, Beyond Compare, Classic Shell, ClipX, Evernote Skitch, FileZilla and many more.
1. Navigate to the Customer Center > Downloads
2. Select a application(s) from the Sample Packages and Select Download Package and save to chosen area.

3. Login to Certero: http://LOCALHOST/CerteroWebApp/
4. Navigate to Distribution > Packages
5. Select Import

6. Search for the Downloaded Package
7. Details – This will automatically generate the details of the Package.
UNC Path - This is used by the Certero client to download the install files from the network as part of the distribution job. This is typically a network share that is used to store all software installation files.
Account Credentials – These credentials only need Read Only Rights to download the file locally to the client device. If the account is on the domain then you need to enter [Domain]\[AccountCredentials].
Package Credentials - These credentials are only used as a one of process to create the folder and move the installation files to the correct folder, in order to setup for the distribution job.
Note. If the Account Credentials specified for the Source Files have Read and Write access rights then you can select the Checkbox “ Use the credentials entered for copying the package source file s” to use these credentials; removing the need to specify additional credentials.

8. Your Package will now have been imported and will be displayed in Certero.
9. If you Right Click > Properties on the Application Package, you have a view of the Details of the package and the Procedures it has available.
