You may wish to stop the Remote Inventory of a computer or ICMP device by an Endpoint Server. The computer could have been removed from the network, or an old Client Rule was incorrectly targeting a device for Remote Inventory.  


Find the device in **Client Management - Computers** or **Client Management - ICMP Devices**. Those targeted for Remote Inventory will be denoted by this icon:

Hovering on the icon displays “Remote Inventory Enabled”.

Right click the Hostname/IP address and choose **Actions - Disable Remote Inventory**. Certero will no longer attempt Remote Inventory of the device.
