--- title: "Remote inventory Status definitions" canonical: "https://ai-docs.certero.com/space/CUP/118951093/Remote%20inventory%20Status%20definitions" format: markdown --- The Status column of the Remote Inventory tab of the Computers page accessed via **Client Management > Computers** will show one of a number of remote inventory statuses for each device, as shown in the example below.  The available statuses are as follows: - **Null**: - Where the status is NULL or Empty this indicates that the devices has not yet been targeted for remote inventory - **Processing**: - Remote inventory is in progress, the information has been sent to the Endpoint server which is in the process of initiating the remote inventory. Normally only at this state briefly. - **Complete**: - Remote inventory completed successfully, however the remote inventory files have not yet been processed by the Application server. Normally only at this state for 5-10 minutes following each remote inventory cycle. - **Idle**: - The remote inventory has previously run successfully and its waiting for the next cycle to start again. Typically this is a 24 hour interval. - **Failed**: - as it suggests, there was a problem performing remote inventory. Refer to the Last Error column for more information.
