The available statuses are as follows:

- **Null**:
  - Where the status is NULL or Empty this indicates that the devices has not yet been targeted for remote inventory
- **Processing**:
  - Remote inventory is in progress, the information has been sent to the Endpoint server which is in the process of initiating the remote inventory. Normally only at this state briefly.
- **Complete**:
  - Remote inventory completed successfully, however the remote inventory files have not yet been processed by the Application server. Normally only at this state for 5-10 minutes following each remote inventory cycle.
- **Idle**:
  - The remote inventory has previously run successfully and its waiting for the next cycle to start again. Typically this is a 24 hour interval.
- **Failed**:
  - as it suggests, there was a problem performing remote inventory. Refer to the Last Error column for more information.
