New Menu Structure | v8

Introduced in Certero version 8 is a new structure and location for the System Menu and reporting levels.

Menus Overview

  • New Location of System Menu

  • New User Options Menu

  • New Themes Editor Menu

  • New Location of Language and Currency Options

  • New Location of Zones

  • Favourites Menu

  • Sticky-Menus

New Location of System Menu

You will find that the System Menu has moved from top right:

To the new location for customisation which you’ll see at the bottom of the Left-Hand Navigation Menu .

This now also incorporates the Reporting Levels previously accessed from the top right system icon

Reporting Levels will open a context menu for you to select Organizational Units and Locations .

New User Options Menu

In previous versions, all user options would be found within the Right-Hand Systems Menu . For ease of use, these have now been incorporated into a User Menu structure.

Accessing the Left-Hand Navigation Menu will display the User Options on the bottom of the screen:

This is now the new location for:

  • User

  • Themes

  • Currency

  • Reporting Levels

  • Global Settings (user role dependent)

New Theme Editor Menu

In V7, importing themes was an available option, but an improvement within V8, now allows you to edit your imported themes.

From the User Options menu, select the paint brush to choose a system default theme, or open the Theme Editor from this menu.

New Location of Language and Currency Options

Language and currency options have now moved from the system menu and are selectable from the User Options menu:

New Location of Zones

Zones have a new location, moving from the system menu in V7, to the very top of the Left-Hand Navigation Menu in V8:

New Favourites Menu

You are now able to favourite your most used Data Grids and dashboards by selecting the Star next to the Data Grid or dashboard name.

This will now appear at the top of the Left-Hand Navigation Menu under Favourites for quick access.

Sticky-Menus

A new feature within V8 is sticky menus. When working within the dropdowns of the Left-Hand Navigation Menu, this will now display the point at which you were viewing if navigating away and back again.
